Is test swap a problem for English learners? (The Herald News) |
Imagine going to France and being asked to take a test in French. If you didn’t do well, the results wouldn’t necessarily mean you aren’t smart or you aren’t learning. It just means that you don’t understand French, a Joliet Grade School District official says. And that scenario will happen statewide this spring to about 36,000 students who know a limited amount of English.
