Celebrating the holidays and a Nativity scene of a different kind - roanoke.com (The New River Valley Current) |
The Nativity scene was one of my favorite artistic subjects when I was a child. I missed the European Renaissance by about 500 years, but nevertheless I joyfully crafted little sculptures out of clay depicting Mother, Daddy and Child. Freud and Jung would have had a field day with me, I’m sure.
