Symphony musician describes the thrill of playing with Nashville’s biggest band (The Tennessean) |
After performing with the Pittsburgh Symphony and San Francisco Symphony, Nashville native Roger Wiesmeyer returned home in 2001 to play English horn with the Nashville Symphony. Since then, he has played on a series of Grammy-nominated recordings with the ensemble, including Joan Tower’s Made in America, released by Naxos last year.
